JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is made using specialized VYCROSS™ technology, which utilizes a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid than other dermal fillers to achieve superior results. Because this treatment still relies upon a highly viscous gel, it promotes retention of the molecular structure of the skin, which enhances its ability to produce the desired volume. This ability makes it an ideal treatment for the mid-face region.

In addition to hyaluronic acid, this product also contains a small amount of Xylocaine, which is an anesthetic that numbs the treatment area as it is being administered. This anesthetic compound helps ensure that you experience minimal discomfort during treatment.
