The Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center is Open

We are still open at our regular office hours at each of our three locations. Our Medical Director & Founder, Emilio M. Justo, M.D., is seeing surgical consultations. Dr. Mark Yates and Dr. Manuel Zambrano will continue to see our postoperative patients as well as any urgent and emergency patients, along with medically necessary eye exams throughout this time.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR IMPENDING APPOINTMENTS:

As always during the cold and flu season that we are now in, we ask that you reschedule any appointment if you feel ill, have experienced a fever within the last 24 hours or are concerned that you may have been exposed to someone with these symptoms. We will be asking screening questions as patients arrive.

If you have an urgent eye problem and feel you need to be seen promptly, our office is here for you, but we ask that you call us at (623) 975-2020 to schedule a same day appointment rather than walk in.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey issued an executive order mandating the temporary halt of all elective surgeries and all surgeries not considered life saving, in order to divert supplies to emergency and life saving medical needs. If your surgery must be rescheduled, one of our team members will reach out to you.

Our service to you is very important to us, so in response to this mandate, we have implemented changes to our schedule aimed at upholding high safety standards while still providing needed care.

To maintain a safe atmosphere for patients and our staff, we have significantly reduced the number of patients who will be in our offices at any one time. We respectfully request that any friend or family members wait in the car during the time that the patient is inside the office. The patient may also wait in the car until the doctor is ready, at which time we can call or text you in your car.

If you would like to try on eyeglasses, please ask one of our opticians to hand you the frames you are interested in, to ensure all frames are kept clean for you.

It is important that you know we are monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and will follow our usual OSHA guidelines for infection control. We are closely following the Center for Disease Control's recommendations as we learn more about the Coronavirus.  We have increased our strong disinfection protocol and maintaining deep cleaning standards.

You are like family to us, and encourage you to contact us if you have any questions.
