Join the Arizona Eye Institute in Collecting School Supplies
Children, parents and educators have gone above and beyond to help our community children gain the best education possible during difficult times.
Everyone collectively stepped up to support the community in their own individual way during a pandemic that impacted our lives in so many ways. But the crisis has still left many families struggling in its wake.
Many families in our community cannot afford the simple luxuries that are key to their children receiving a proper education - such as basic school supplies. So I kindly invite you to join us again this June and July as we host a summer school supply drive in partnership with the Salvation Army Sun Cities West Valley Corps.
We will be collecting school supplies for children in most need, now until Friday, July 30. Just drop the supplies off in our Sun City or Sun City West locations Monday through Friday (we are closed July 5 for Independence Day) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and on most Wednesdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Wickenburg.
These are the items most needed by the children: college rule paper, wide rule paper, composition books, pocket notebooks, three ring binders, spiral notebooks, paper folders, back packs, calculators, pencil top erasers, hand sanitizers, glue sticks, highlighters, scissors, markers, pencil cases, and pencil sharpeners.

-Emilio M. Justo, M.D., is Founder & Medical Director of the Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center, which is hosting its annual school supplies drive during the month of July. The 32-year practice specializes in laser eyelid and cataract surgery, full vision care, and cosmetic and beauty care.
