It’s All About You
"I am proud to bring a wealth of experience, from serving patients in large to mid-sized hospitals, medical clinics and even in remote overseas medical facilities and submarines, here to the Arizona Eye Institute. The most important thing I have learned in my more than two decades as a clinical optometrist is that while we all have similar anatomical and physiological features, we each have our own unique vision demands and health needs that require individual attention.
Wealth of Experience in Care
"Over the years, it has always been my goal to partner education with customized care of each individual, and my experience has given me a wealth of knowledge to treat any vision condition I come across. I spearheaded many programs including the development of the Navy Medicine's Occupational Therapy vision rehab program. I have provided special and advanced optometric evaluations to diagnose nad provide expert consultation to treat everything from routine vision issues, to those involving traumatic brain injury, stroke and even complex neuro-optometry cases."
Proud to be a Veteran
"One of my proudest achievements has been service to t his nation, and earning the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy. It has given me a great passion to provide quality care to our nation's armed forces, and to provide specialty services to our wounded warriors who deserve our commitment to their quality of life. I am the proud founder of the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Vision Center of Excellence for the Hospital's Wounded Warrior Program and have helped develop proper vision care for our brave warriors."
