Office Staff Helps Patients Feel At Home
Jennifer Swick has worked with Dr. Justo for over a decade. She is proud of the compassion and kindness that exudes from the office staff of Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center. Jennifer understands how important it is that patients feel comfortable in the office and she goes to great lengths to make that happen.View transcript
MS. JENNIFER SWICK: I've been here since 2001, and a lot of our other staff have been here over a decade or so as well. I think our patients really appreciate that because we know them by name, and they know us by name by now, too. And we love to see them when they come in regularly. I think it puts them at ease, and I think they feel comfortable here, and they know how compassionate we are with them. We're all family. The patients are family. They may not have a lot of relatives or friends on the outside, and I think we take over that role for them, and help them be more confident in themselves, and help with, you know, the procedures, just make them a whole another personality at times. He's so energetic, and he loves what he does. And he goes above and beyond patient care for the patients. He answers all their questions. He spends so much personal one-on-one time with them, and you don't get that in other places. Dr. Clark is so young, and she's energetic, and the patients love her. She has such a caring attitude, and again, she spends a lot of time with her patients as well, and she gets to know them on a personal basis. Patients come in and they say, "I can see better now," after their cataract surgery. They don't have to wear glasses, and it's just so amazing to them that all their life they've worn glasses, and now they have none.
