Safe and Effective Plastic Surgery for Seniors

Dr. Justo performs plastic surgery on patients of all ages. He has a special set of treatments that are popular among the senior citizen community. Certain plastic surgery for seniors can be done under local anesthesia, which makes it safer.

MALE VOICE 4: Any time that you talk about any kind of cosmetic surgery at all, you automatically are thinking in terms of the women who show up on television, the stars. Last week, we were talking about plastic surgery with the stars, and the fact that it's a cover of so many magazines. But you actually have a whole range of ages that come to you. DR. EMILIO JUSTO: That's correct, because our primary office in Sun City West, of course, is in the middle of a retirement community, we have patients that come in for cosmetic surgery who are literally in their seventies, eighties, and even a handful in their nineties. We also have patients in their twenties and thirties, of course, but with the tumescent technique, because we were doing it under local anesthesia, this allows patients who are more elderly and perhaps are on multiple medications, or may have some serious problem such as high blood pressure or other conditions, who may still be eligible to have liposuction in a very safe, effective manner. Plus, we have our own surgery center within our building, that is fully state of the art, both state licensed as well as Medicare certified.
