Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Technician
Description: Full time position for busy practice. Must be able to perform all of the screening tests, such as accurate manual refraction, vision and IOP testing, visual field/OCT/IOL Master/corneal topography. Experience with scrubbing cataract surgery and/or oculoplastic surgeries a big plus. Requirements: Must have computer experience, EHR (Compulink) a plus; Must be able to multi-task independently, although being a team player is of critical importance; Must have excellent patient rapport and communication skills. Salary dependent upon experience. References required.

Description: Full time position in high-energy practice. The successful candidate will be confident and motivated with a stable work history and service oriented personality. We offer a team work environment and competitive compensation package. Responsibilities: Include educating and assisting patients in selecting the best frames and lenses to meet their needs. Accurately taking patient related measurements. Dispensing, adjusting and repairing eyeglasses. Effectively communicating with doctors, staff and patients. An outstanding experienced optician with at least 3 years of experience and ABO certification a plus.

Description: Full time position with busy 25-year ophthalmology practice. Requirements: Must be highly computer literate and have experience with electronic medical billing; Must be able to understand insurance explanation of benefits and post payments accordingly; Must have an understanding of contractual adjustments and deductibles; Must have experience working and scrubbing AR reports; Must have experience communicating with insurance companies and requesting office and surgical referrals and authorizations; Must be an absolute team player yet have the ability to work independently; Must be able to multi-task without feeling stressed or overburdened; Must have minimum 3-years of medical billing experience. This position reports directly to the Billing Manager. Salary dependent upon experience. References required.
Front Office Receptionist and Coordinator
Description: Full-time medical front office position at busy ophthalmology and cosmetic surgery practice in Sun City and Sun City West. Seek experience. Requirements: Must be able to multi-task, check patients in and out, and work independently; Must have experience answering multiple phone lines, posting charges and payments, have computer experience (EMR a plus); Must have excellent rapport and communication skills. Salary depends upon experience. References required.
Description: Full time experienced and enthusiastic Medical Assistant for busy ophthalmology and cosmetic surgery practice as well as Ambulatory Surgery Center. Responsibilities: performing pre-operative counseling and assessments; Performing post-operative care, including suture removal; Facilitating visual field testing for ophthalmology and eyelid surgery patients; Administrative assistance with Quality Improvement/Risk Management for the ASC; Assistance with ordering medical and/or surgical supplies; Scheduling surgeries. Medical assistant must have MA certification. BLS/CPR certification preferred as well. Full time preferred. Salary depends upon experience. Benefits available. MA must have outstanding patient rapport with senior population, have compassion, be detail-oriented and a team player.
