Recently there have been announcements among various government leaders on the topic of whether it continues to be appropriate to wear masks in very specific settings, and asking that businesses such as ours continue to review our public safety and mask requirements. As a business providing important health care services to the community, we are committed to top quality care that also prevents the spread of any illness, including COVID-19.  While we respect everyone’s personal choices surrounding this matter, the nature of our work with our patients require that we work in close proximity of each other and therefore we believe it is in the best interest of our business to continue wearing masks until further notice.  These precautions are appropriate given the demographics of many of our patients that place them in what medical experts consider “at risk” groups that are important to us to keep safe and well.
We will revisit this policy once we have more time and information to evaluate the impact the executive order has on our industry and community.  In the meantime, we respectfully ask that while you are providing us the privilege of caring for you and your loved ones, that you please respect our mask policy. Masks are required on every individual in the building, covering the mouth and nose.
We understand that this has been a trying time for all involved, and we are all ready to get back to normal as soon as possible. We are working hard to create processes that will allow us to do so shortly. We are confident that within a short time, if we can all work together, we will return to normal. We are very excited to see your smiling faces again, soon.

Getting Kids Ready for School

The Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center is proud to once again partner with the Salvation Army to collect school supplies to help all of our community children succeed in the coming school year.  While it is still hot out, the school year starts in early August, and many children and families don't have access to basic supplies important to their education.

These supplies will ensure children can focus on learning during the school day, and at home.

Donations will be collected at the Sun City West and Sun City locations from now until Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

"It is a great time of year to take advantage of Back to School sales and stock up on donations that the Salvation Army will distribute to the children in most need, before the year begins," said Emilio M. Justo, M.D., Founder & Medical Director of the Arizona Eye Institute.

There are bins located in the front lobby of the Sun City West and Sun City practice locations, to collect the new, unused, supplies.

The most needed, new, items are: Backpacks; Pencils; Washable Markers; Highlighters; Binders; Composition Books; Glue Sticks; Pencil Boxes/Pencil Pouches; Hand Sanitizer; Pens (Black Ink); Crayons; Color Pencils; Dry Erase Markers; Pocket & Prong Folders; Rulers; Children’s Scissors; Tissue; Erasers.

"As a proud father of three, I know what it takes for a child to successfully learn, and all children should have the same opportunity to study without the stress of lacking basic supplies," Justo said.

"Thank you so very much for being so supportive of the children in our community, who are our future leaders."
