MASKS REQUIRED AT ALL OFFICES

Our current mask policy reflects our ongoing efforts to support the healthiest possible environment for every patient and team member, while following closely the guidance from health officials. Masks are at this time required by all patients, visitors and staff inside our practice.  You can have confidence that our team members are taking every effort to maintain the health and safety of our practice at this time, including sterilizing each room between each use. We thank you for your understanding as we strive to focus on the best in care as we treat a diverse group of patients including those considered to be at higher risk.  We will get through this together.

PROTECTING YOUR EYES
FROM THE SUN

___________

JUNE 27 IS NATIONAL SUNGLASSES DAY!

It is important to shield your eyes from the sun's harmful UV rays because the radiation from the rays can damage the surface of the eye. The damage from the sun accumulates so that over time, your eyes can get worse. Unprotected exposure to the sun can increase the risk of certain types of cataracts and cancers of the eyelids. UV rays can also damage the retina, the light-sensitive back lining of the eye, which could lead to significant vision loss.

Here are some tips that can help you protect your eyes from overexposure and damage from UV radiation:

A/ Wear sunglasses any time your eyes are exposed to UV radiation, even on overcast, cloudy days.
B/ Wear a wide-brimmed hat, which can block up to half of the UV radiation.
C/ Look for quality sunglasses that actually shield your eyes from the sun's harmful rays, blocking out 99-100% percent of UV radiation.

For more handy tips, come talk to us and visit us at our office! We can help you select a pair of sunglasses that provide your eyes the proper protection they need. We also have Obagi Sunshield to protect your delicate skin from the sun.  (And if you bring in at least one case of water before the end of June you can earn a 25% discount off select non-insurance sunglasses, and the Obagi Sunshield!)

We want to help protect your eyes and vision, so please come visit us soon!
