MASKS REQUIRED AT ALL OFFICES

Our current mask policy reflects our ongoing efforts to support the healthiest possible environment for every patient and team member, while following closely the guidance from health officials. Masks are at this time required by all patients, visitors and staff inside our practice.  You can have confidence that our team members are taking every effort to maintain the health and safety of our practice at this time, including sterilizing each room between each use. We thank you for your understanding as we strive to focus on the best in care as we treat a diverse group of patients including those considered to be at higher risk.  We will get through this together.

Glaucoma is a complex disease in which damage to the optic nerve leads to progressive, irreversible vision loss.

FACT:
Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness in the world.

FACT:
While anyone can get glaucoma, some people are at greater risk.

Don't Avoid Preventative Annual Exams

Glaucoma dooms the eyesight of millions of Americans every year. This eye disease results from patterned damage to the optic nerve, permanently inhibiting vision and leading to blindness if left untreated.

Glaucoma affects 1 in 200 people under the age of 50, and 1 in 10 over the age of 80. Glaucoma is often labeled the "silent thief of sight" because 90% of Glaucoma cases come without noticeable symptoms other than gradually progressive vision loss. When detected early by screenings from one of our Medical Optometrists, you can greatly slow the advancement of Glaucoma, granting your vision a much longer lifespan.

This will have significant impact on your overall quality of life.

We care about you and your precious vision, and welcome you to come in at a time convenient to you to check for glaucoma and undergo a variety of health screenings.  One of our Medical Optometrists can see you as early as today!  In fact, you can even walk in to our Sun City office at 10701 West Bell Road in Sun City, or call the office at (623) 876-2020.
