A Quick Treatment for Long-lasting Results

Deep lines and wrinkles around the face can betray your age, sometimes making you feel self-conscious or like you aren't living up to your full potential. It's especially frustrating because the wrinkles usually develop from our own natural facial expressions! For example, smiling can create large wrinkles (called nasolabial folds) in the lower face and furrowed brows can create lines across the forehead; being healthy doesn't necessarily prevent lines and wrinkles from developing.

That's why we have a dermal filler that treats deeper folds safely, quickly, and effectively - it's called Restylane®, and it's available at our cosmetic centers near Phoenix. With this treatment, you can eliminate those wrinkles during a quick appointment and enjoy results that can last over six months. If you're interested in trying Restylane®, contact us today. Our helpful staff is more than happy to discuss Restylane® or any other treatments you may be interested in.

What Is Restylane®?

Restylane® is comprised of a substance called hyaluronan, also referred to as hyaluronate or hyaluronic acid. This is a naturally occurring substance found in the human body, which acts as an important part of skin repair, cartilage cells, and other small but vital components of the body. This is one of the reasons why Restylane® doesn't require a test beforehand to see how a patient's body will react to the injection - the body actually requires it on a regular basis to survive.

Areas of Treatment

  • Nasolabial folds (lines extending from the nose to the corners of the mouth; also known as "smile lines")
  • Marionette lines (wrinkles from mouth to chin; also known as "frown lines")
  • Forehead wrinkles
  • Crow's feet (wrinkles from squinting or smiling, fanning out from the edge of the eye)
  • Can be used to create more cheek volume
  • Can help fill in more concave spots (e.g. around or under the eyes) that hollow due to aging
  • Can even be used as a lip sculptor

Procedure

Once you've conferred with Dr. Justo, and you've both agreed that Restylane® is the best treatment to produce the results you desire, a few injection points are chosen by Dr. Justo. The appropriate amount of Restylane® is injected underneath the skin in the targeted areas. The hyaluronic acid then attracts water, causing the underlying tissue to swell and lines and wrinkles to fade. The treated area should also see an increase in volume.

After the procedure, which lasts about an hour, results should appear quickly and last for around six months. If you wish to prolong the effects of Restylane® injections, we highly recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment with Dr. Justo to readminister the treatment.

Safe and Effective Results since 1996

Since 1996, Restylane® dermal filler has been safely administered to millions of Americans, creating effective and long-lasting results. Since this filler is not animal-based, it eliminates any chance of animal-based diseases being transmitted or allergic reactions occurring. A natural dermal filler, Restylane® effectively restores volume and smoothes wrinkled areas of the face. Results can last six months or longer, but usually the results have a lifespan of three to six months.
