Recently there have been announcements among various government leaders on the topic of whether it continues to be appropriate to wear masks in very specific settings, and asking that businesses such as ours continue to review our public safety and mask requirements. As a business providing important health care services to the community, we are committed to top quality care that also prevents the spread of any illness, including COVID-19.  While we respect everyone’s personal choices surrounding this matter, the nature of our work with our patients require that we work in close proximity of each other and therefore we believe it is in the best interest of our business to continue wearing masks until further notice.  These precautions are appropriate given the demographics of many of our patients that place them in what medical experts consider “at risk” groups that are important to us to keep safe and well.
We will revisit this policy once we have more time and information to evaluate the impact the executive order has on our industry and community.  In the meantime, we respectfully ask that while you are providing us the privilege of caring for you and your loved ones, that you please respect our mask policy. Masks are required on every individual in the building, covering the mouth and nose.
We understand that this has been a trying time for all involved, and we are all ready to get back to normal as soon as possible. We are working hard to create processes that will allow us to do so shortly. We are confident that within a short time, if we can all work together, we will return to normal. We are very excited to see your smiling faces again, soon.

Reveal Your Naturally Radiant Skin

Microdermabrasion is a safe, non-surgical technique used to create healthy and youthful looking skin. Similar forms of the treatment have been used by ancient Egyptian royalty all the way to modern-day Hollywood stars, and in 2010 the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery counted microdermabrasion as one of the top five non-surgical procedures performed on both men and women. The microdermabrasion technique we use at our facilities in Phoenix employs a gentle yet thorough crystal scrub and vacuum to achieve the best results achievable. To make your skin look better than ever, make an appointment with the plastic surgery and eye surgery professionals at Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center.

Professional Microdermabrasion Process

Using an advanced form of exfoliation, microdermabrasion reveals a new, healthier layer of skin that heals and replaces the old dead skin and its flaws. The procedure, which lasts around 30 minutes to an hour, involves the use of a machine that blows a continuous thread of tiny crystals to break up the stratum corneum - the topmost layer of dead skin where fine wrinkles and some other imperfections occur. A vacuum simultaneously suctions up the tiny crystal particles along with the dead skin, revealing the layer underneath.

The body then works to replace the missing layer of skin with a newer, healthier one that feels smoother and looks clearer. Microdermabrasion can be combined with a light chemical peel to increase the effect. To achieve the best results possible, five to twelve treatments are suggested, about two or three weeks apart.

Essentially No Risk

There is almost no risk of adverse side effects with microdermabrasion. Sometimes the recovery from the sensitive skin can take two days, and usually one procedure is not enough to achieve the results that are desired. After discussing the treatment with our specialists, you'll find that microdermabrasion is a time-tested process that produces results safely and painlessly.
