Cards for Troops
We're Collecting Christmas Cards for the Troops!
Last year, we joined local Valley Classic Rock Station KSLX (100.7 FM) in their annual "10,000 For The Troops," a campaign in which they collect Christmas cards for brave Americans serving overseas in the Armed Forces.
We were thrilled with the hundreds of Christmas cards we received (see above!), showing just how much gratitude our community has for those who will be spending the holiday season heroically protecting our safety and freedoms.
We love the support we received for the community effort, and are kicking off our leg of the campaign TODAY!
We are starting to collect personalized cards that the station will deliver to the troops, NOW until Friday, Nov. 27 (the day after Thanksgiving), so that we can get them to the station in time to be mailed overseas far and wide.
Cards need no postage or stamps - the radio station will be sending them in bulk. You can add your own personal message or even hand make one! You can donate as many cards as you like. Please drop your cards off in the lobbies of any of our locations during business hours by 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27:
