ANSWERS OF OUR OBAGI BLUE PEEL TRIVIA:
QUESTION FIVE: From beginning to end, the entire Obagi Blue Peel process takes approximately seven days for the peeling to be done. A patient can expect skin peeling and sloughing for four to five days, diminished brown spots and discolorations once the skin pulls off and skin tightening through collagen stimulation within two weeks. Is this True or False? ANSWER - TRUE!
QUESTION FOUR: The purpose of the blue dye is to ensure the clear acid is applied evenly on the skin. It also contains a buffering product that helps neutralize the acid once you apply it. As the acid soaks into the skin, the blue dye turns different shades as the peel penetrates into the skin. So, why do patients get sent home with the blue dye still on their face?
A. We need to let the dye set in on the skin longer for better results.
B. If you get pulled over for speeding, you can say you have a new variant of Covid to get of a ticket.
C. The blue dye stains the skin for 7 to 10 days.
D. The amount of time it takes to wash it off can be extensive, lasting over 45 minutes.
QUESTION THREE: The Obagi Blue Peel can be applied to multiple layers of skin, depending upon the condition of the skin. Most patients can only tolerate one to two layers due to burning sensation as the chemical peel is absorbing into the skin. Which patients are good candidates for a multi-layer Blue Peel?
A. Patients with Acne scars
B. Patients with Rosacea
C. Patients with Melasma or Hyperpigmentation
D. Patients with Pediculus Humanus Capitis
Question TWO: The Obagi Blue Peel active ingredient is an acid that separates the layers of the skin. Once the skin is separated, it dries up and peels off over a 5 to 8 day period of time. During the peeling process, your skin turns:
A. Purple and hard like plastic.
B. Brown and feels tight like leather.
C. Red and burns for several hours afterward.
D. Blue and remains blue for two weeks.
QUESTION ONE: The Obagi Blue Peel is
D. Dermaplane Razor
ANSWER: A - It is a chemical peel!
