Description

This 79-year-old patient from Sun City came to see Dr. Emilio M. Justo at Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center, complaining of heavy eyelids that were impacting her quality of life and making her at times “feel like a hooded cobra.” Her eyes felt heavy, with eyelids that dropped halfway closed, causing her to pull her eyebrows upward in order to see properly. Dr. Justo performed bilateral mullerectomy surgery, which have allowed the patient to open her eyes again completely, improving her vision and quality of life.
