DR. EMILIO JUSTO: Welcome to the Arizona Eye Institute and Cosmetic Laser Center. My name is Dr. Emilio Justo, and I am proud to be the founder and medical director of this practice since 1989. Our practice is quite unique in that we offer first class service for both our medical and surgical eye care patients, as well as provide exceptional cosmetic services, surgeries, and products. In the ophthalmology arena, we provide services such as no-stitch, no-needle, and no-patch cataract surgery, using a variety of foldable lens implant technologies, which include premium lenses, such as the multi-focal lens, to reduce the need for eyeglasses for both driving and reading up close. I was also the first surgeon in Arizona, in 1999, to implant a toric lens implant to reduce preexisting astigmatism. Additionally, we provide medical management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye exams, and dry eye syndrome, along, of course, with routine annual eye exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses. Our in-house optical, Just For Eyes Optical Boutique, provides for high quality designer eye wear at affordable prices. From a cosmetic and plastic surgery perspective, we offer the following. I was one of the first surgeons in metro Phoenix to use the carbon dioxide laser, beginning in 1997. I used the CO2 laser to perform eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, as well as laser skin resurfacing, including fractional laser treatments. Many of my upper eyelid surgery patients have their procedure done for functional reasons under insurance coverage, to improve peripheral vision, as well as to decrease visual fatigue. I perform full body tumescent liposuction to help contour and shape the body. Additionally, I perform both traditional face and neck lifts, as well as mini-lifts such as S-lifts, along with endoscopic brow lifts and chin implants. Non-surgically, we offer medical grade skin care using the Obagi Nu-Derm system, as well as the Obagi Blue Peel. Our practice also provides permanent cosmetic makeup, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, and sclerotherapy for spider veins. I personally perform all of our Botox and Dysport injections, as well as our tissue filler injections, such as Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, Radiesse, and Artefill.
